The new single cylinder 246cc OHC engine produces a broad range of power with an emphasis on mid-range torque whilst, mid range power is enhanced by a Mikuni BSR 29mm carburettor joined to a large capacity airbox and tuned exhaust system. The Ozark has a five speed transmission, start in gear feature and low maintenance shaft drive. Independent front and swingarm rear suspension provide 140mm (5.5in) wheel travel which together with an 206mm (8.1in) ground clearance give a comfortable ride over all types of terrain. Other features include dual hydraulic110mm (6.3in) front disc and drum rear brakes; full width floorboards; and dual halogen headlights. |
